Dr. Avinash Kumar is a Consultant Neonatologist with expertise in the care of newborns, particularly critically ill and premature infants. He is the Founder and Director of AK POCUS, where he focuses on advancing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) education and its application in neonatal and pediatric practice. His clinical interests include neonatal intensive care, newborn resuscitation, neonatal hemodynamics, and bedside ultrasound-guided diagnostics. He is actively involved in medical education and training programs aimed at improving neonatal outcomes and critical care practices. Through his clinical and academic contributions, he continues to promote innovation and excellence in neonatology and point-of-care imaging.
Dr. Avinash Kumar is a highly dedicated Neonatologist, academician, and medical educator based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He holds advanced qualifications including DM Neonatology and DrNB Neonatology, reflecting his strong expertise in newborn care, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric healthcare. Currently associated with Geetanjali Institute of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Avinash Kumar is actively involved in clinical practice, medical education, and healthcare training. In addition to his academic and clinical responsibilities, Dr. Avinash Kumar is the Founder & Director of A K POCUS Academy, an initiative focused on advancing point-of-care ultrasound education and practical medical training. His professional interests include neonatal critical care, bedside ultrasound applications, evidence-based medicine, and improving healthcare outcomes for newborns and critically ill infants.
