Head Anesthesiology & Critical Care, Director Critical Care, Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad Dr. S. Manimala Rao is a pioneering figure in anaesthesiology and critical care medicine in India. She completed her MBBS from Osmania Medical College and her MD from AIIMS, New Delhi (1972). She has an extensive academic background, having served as Assistant Professor at Gandhi Medical College and as Associate Professor, Professor, HOD, and Dean at NIMS (Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences), Hyderabad. She has been the President of RSACP, State Chapter ISA, Vice President of ISA & Critical Care, and Chairperson of the MOHAN Foundation. She has published over 100 papers in national and international journals and holds additional qualification DA (London). Currently, she serves as Head of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care and Director of Critical Care at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad. She is widely regarded as one of the most senior and respected intensivists in South India.
