She completed her fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH) in Bangalore, one of Karnataka's leading pediatric referral centers, where she gained extensive experience across various pediatric endocrine disorders. Dr. Dhanya holds an MBBS from Kasturba Medical College (2014) and a gold-medal-winning MD in Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Rajkot (2018). Before joining Aster MIMS, she served as a Registrar at Apollo Cradle Hospitals, Bangalore, and as a Senior Resident in Pediatrics at IGICH. Passionate about her field, she continually keeps updated with the latest advancements in pediatric endocrinology. Her accolades include the Ratan Tata Scholarship (2010), an MD Pediatrics gold medal, and an Indian Council of Medical Research Short-Term Sponsorship (STS) award for her research on cultural beliefs during the postnatal period in a South Indian coastal town.
