Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan

Dr. Uma Vaidyanathan joined Fortis Healthcare in November 2019 after building a strong clinical practice across reputed corporate hospitals. She has actively contributed to research initiatives focused on maternal mortality and infections during pregnancy at institutions such as All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Safdarjung Hospital, and the World Health Organization. Her expertise spans both low- and high-risk pregnancies, adolescent hormonal disorders like PCOD, and the conservative as well as laparoscopic management of common gynaecological conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, and irregular uterine bleeding. Dr. Vaidyanathan has also published research articles in reputed national journals and serves as a peer reviewer for case reports submitted to the British Medical Journal.
