Dr. Supriyo Mukherjee is a distinguished clinician, educator, and researcher with over 27 years of experience in advancing primary and specialized care in diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. As the Founder and Director of The Research Centre for Diabetes, Hypertension, and Obesity (RCDHO) in Samastipur, Bihar, he has spearheaded community-focused care for over 21,000 registered patients, many from underserved populations. His work blends hands-on clinical practice with impactful public health initiatives, patient education, and epidemiological research, including the notable DIOS Study (Diabetes in Offspring Study). In addition to his leadership at RCDHO, Dr. Mukherjee also directs DrMukherjeeS Clinic Pvt. Ltd. and the Centre for Clinical Research and Practice (CCRP)—establishments that reflect his lifelong commitment to accessible, evidence-based medicine and capacity building at the grassroots level.

Dr. Supriyo Mukherjee holds a Master of Science in Advancing Diabetes Care from Birmingham City University, UK, where he graduated with Distinction, gaining advanced expertise in diabetes medicine, clinical research, and public health. He completed his MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious King George's Medical University, India, where he deepened his clinical focus on chronic disease management and medical education. His foundational medical training began at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, where he earned his MBBS with Honours and a Gold Medal, laying the groundwork for a career marked by academic excellence and clinical impact. Throughout his education, Dr. Mukherjee has developed strong competencies in medicine, diabetes care, clinical trials, epidemiological research, and data analysis.
