Dr. Ihab El Tayeb is the Chair and Founder of the International Diabetes & Obesity Conference (IDOC) in Dubai, as well as a highly experienced Consultant Endocrinologist based in the UAE. He holds an MD in Endocrinology from Al‑Azhar University, Egypt, and a Master’s in Obesity Management from South Wales University, UK. With over 25 years of clinical practice, he’s an expert in managing complex endocrine disorders—from type 1 and type 2 diabetes to thyroid, pituitary, adrenal conditions, growth‑hormone therapy, and metabolic bone disease. In addition to founding IDOC, he serves as Honorary President of the conference, guiding its mission to bridge illness and wellness in diabetes and obesity care. Dr. El Tayeb is also on the editorial board of leading journals in endocrinology and obesity, and in high demand as a keynote speaker internationally, industry-wide.
