Congenital heart disease includes one or more problems with the heart structure that are present at birth, these occur when the heart and blood vessels don't form correctly in utero. The cause of these heart defects can be because of genes or chromosomes,environment, mother’s diet or mother’s health conditions,or any medications taken by the mother during pregnancy.Few symptoms that can be seen during this condition are rapid breathing, swelling of the legs, tiredness and fatigue,blue tinge to the skin or lips,tiredness and rapid breathing when baby is feeding.
