A normal cycle of a cell divides, lives for some time and then dies off. Sometimes due to mutation in DNA of a cell, it replicates itself through cell division but it does not die and would form a lump or tumor this condition is called cancer. Surgery is the procedure used to remove the tumor and nearby tissues containing cancer cells. There are few reasons to remove the cancer with surgery 1.To relieve cancer side effects 2. To remove some or all cancer cells 3. To restore the body function. 4. To know the spread of cancer cells or affected body organs.
