He served as the Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), where he was the Principal Advisor to the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri and held the prestigious position of the President's Honorary Surgeon. Following his exemplary military career, Dr. Puri was entrusted with the role of Vice Chancellor at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare. He currently serves as the Director of Medical Services (North) at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi, continuing his impactful contributions to the healthcare sector.
