About the Webinar

Palliative care plays a vital role in managing chronic illnesses by focusing on improving quality of life rather than solely treating disease progression. It provides relief from pain, symptoms, and emotional distress associated with conditions like heart failure, COPD, cancer, and kidney disease. Through a holistic approach, palliative care addresses physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, supporting both patients and families. It encourages shared decision-making, advance care planning, and coordination among healthcare providers. By integrating palliative care early in chronic illness, patients experience better symptom control, reduced hospitalizations, and enhanced dignity while navigating long-term health challenges.
