  • Ayurveda, although an ancient science, can provide instant pain relief and is becoming increasingly recognized worldwide due to fast development driven by the current government. The system emphasizes prevention as the first step, followed by treatment when necessary, advocating a lifestyle incorporating daily routines like yoga and mindful eating. Lifestyle changes in modern cities often lead to neglecting the body's need for purification.
  • Pain in Ayurveda is defined as an unpleasant emotional and sensory experience, which is called the pain of the pain. Ayurvedic treatments are aimed at curing our diseases. Two types of pain are mentioned- acute and chronic. Effective pain management requires due knowledge of pain, assessment, and analgesics.
  • Various types of pain are related to doshas, bones, nerves, and muscles. Sprains, frozen shoulders, sciatica, bone severeness, and referred pain are few kinds of pain. Ayurvedic treatment focuses on relieving pain, improving quality of life, improving physical functioning, and reducing psychological distress, while also emphasizing prevention.
  • Ayurvedic treatments include five-dimensional therapies. Marmas are energy points which are regulated through certain methods, and their blockages are relieved for treatment of multiple conditions. Treatment methods like cupping therapy or lead therapy and metal heating provides local circulation for pain relief.
  • Agni Karma is a para-surgical process where heat is used to nullify disease pathology. Specific equipment like gold rods or gas batteries are used to burn at identified points and clean the surface with aloe vera gel. Agni Karma is effective in treating frozen shoulder and has various benefits in managing chronic pain.
  • Marma therapy involves applying pressure to specific points. Marma is a patient, and it correlates with the chakra. Spiritual and Vedic knowledge is crucial in Ayurveda, emphasizing the importance of controlling the mind.
