About the Webinar

Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) is a frequently underdiagnosed condition where gastric contents affect the larynx and pharynx, leading to symptoms such as hoarseness, chronic cough, and throat irritation. This session will explore the underlying pathophysiology and highlight key differences between LPR and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Emphasis will be placed on clinical evaluation, diagnostic challenges, and the role of laryngoscopic findings. Participants will gain practical insights into evidence-based management strategies, including lifestyle modifications and medical therapy. The webinar aims to enhance early recognition and improve patient outcomes in routine clinical practice.
