Dr. Praveen Wali is a Consultant - Radiologist at Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore. He received his medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences, India and then went on to complete a Post-graduation in Radiology. In 2018, he earned an EDIR (European Diploma in Radiology — European College of Radiology). He has researched and published Sporadic hepatogastric fistula – A rare complication of liver abscess, Retroclival ecchordosis physaliphora, Intramedullary osteosclerosis of right femur confirmed on triphasic bone SPECT/CT in a patient with equivocal radiological features. Original research conducted at P.D.Hinduja Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai as part of the curriculum of the DNB degree. The work titled “Role of MRI in response evaluation to Chemotherapy in Osteosarcoma and Ewings sarcoma” aimed to assess post-chemotherapy changes in sarcoma’s using MRI DWI/DCE sequences in comparison with PET/CT and Histopathology.
