علاج متقدم لورم قاعدة الجمجمة: حالة تاريخية استغرقت 26 ساعة
Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC) successfully treated a rare skull base tumor in a 30-year-old athlete from Bahrain. Led by Dr. Joy Varghese and Dr. Venkat Karthikeyan, the team performed a complex 26-hour surgery to remove the tumor, which was dangerously close to the brainstem and vital blood vessels. The procedure required meticulous planning due to the tumor's location and the absence of a venous system on the left side. Post-surgery, the patient showed significant improvement, with restored speech and swallowing functions. Histopathology confirmed the tumor was a rare schwannoma, and the patient continues to receive follow-up care and rehabilitationشاهد المزيد
