About the Case Presentation

SPF  measures how well a sunscreen protects your skin from harmful UVB rays, which cause sunburn and contribute to skin cancer. An SPF 15 blocks about 93% of UVB rays, while SPF 30 offers 97%, and SPF 50 provides 98%. Higher SPF levels offer slightly more protection but no sunscreen can block 100% of UV rays. It’s essential to apply sunscreen generously and reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Also, look for broad-spectrum sunscreens to protect against UVA rays, which contribute to premature aging. Remember, sunscreen is a critical part of your daily skincare routine, even on cloudy days.
