About the Case Presentation

Managing childhood asthma involves identifying and avoiding triggers such as pollen, dust mites, smoke, and pet dander. Keeping the environment clean, using air purifiers, and washing bedding regularly can help reduce exposure.Medications are key to controlling asthma. Quick-relief inhalers offer immediate relief during attacks, while controller medications like inhaled corticosteroids prevent flare-ups. Ensuring proper inhaler use is essential. Lifestyle changes also play a role. Encourage physical activity, monitor for exercise-induced symptoms, and maintain a healthy diet to boost overall health. Educating children and having an asthma action plan ensures better symptom management and improved quality of life.
