About the webinar

Adult Nephrotic Syndrome is a kidney disorder characterized by excessive protein loss in urine.  It is a common condition in adults, particularly in men over the age of 50. Symptoms  include swelling, especially in the legs, feet, and face, foamy urine, and weight gain. Treatment options include controlling blood pressure, reducing fluid accumulation, and managing underlying conditions such as diabetes. Steroid therapy and other immunosuppressive drugs are often used to reduce inflammation and control proteinuria.
